Leigh Burton
Leigh Burton is an FTZ Project Manager in PointTrade Services, Inc.'s Managed Services Group. She is located in PTSI's corporate office in Panama City, Florida.
Relevant Experience
Ms. Burton has experience administering the day-to-day operations of several foreign-trade zones. Her operational experience includes FTZ admissions, transfers, adjustments, shipments, systems reviews, reconciliation, and issue troubleshooting and resolution. She has provided foreign-trade zone operational training to various clients and has assisted with compliance reviews and risk management.
Ms. Burton has also been active in the testing phase of various FTZ IT systems related to the day-to-day operation of foreign-trade zones. She remains committed to providing quality FTZ operational services in compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations and Foreign-Trade Zones Board regulations.
She has been involved with foreign-trade zone projects in the electronics, footwear, outdoor power products, computer chips, agricultural equipment, watches, and textile and apparel industries.
Ms. Burton has a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Ms. Burton studied abroad in Costa Rica and China.
Ms. Burton is an active member of the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones.
