Tracy Fetrow
Tracy Fetrow is PointTrade Services, Inc.'s Sr. Vice President of Trade Services and co-founder. Ms. Fetrow has 24 years of experience with a variety of trade and customs services to U.S. and multinational companies. She is a licensed customs broker with a background in customs brokerage, foreign-trade zones, and trade and customs consulting services.
Relevant Experience
Ms. Fetrow is experienced in dealing with the international trade community, including U.S. Customs and multinational companies, to provide compliance/risk management, foreign-trade zone services, and trade and customs consulting services.
Ms. Fetrow's experience comprises providing trade and customs services to a wide range of industries including steel, silicones, chemicals, ink pigmentation, pharmaceuticals, tires, textiles, apparel and footwear, aircraft engines, large retail distribution, consumer products, eye care, electronic/industrial machinery and components, jewelry and watches, air and seaports, and general warehousing and distribution.
She has specific experience in preparing detailed documentation necessary to support the prior disclosure process. Her involvement includes analysis of company receipts, shipments, and bills of material to successfully complete prior disclosure documentation for U.S. Customs. Additionally, Ms. Fetrow helped develop tools used to outline supply chain security issues, assisting companies with successful enrollment in the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program.
Ms. Fetrow also assists clients in obtaining the savings benefits associated with the Foreign-Trade Zones Program. She is experienced in FTZ feasibility analyses, operational issues, application preparation and review, activation processes, FTZ Annual Reports, zone schedules, and FTZ procedure manuals.
Ms. Fetrow has extensive experience in the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing foreign-trade zone and she is well-versed in inventory control issues for manufacturing zone operations located in a general-purpose foreign-trade zone environment.
Ms. Fetrow was instrumental in the daily operations of a major steel manufacturing company, assisting in maintaining zone inventory of merchandise manufactured, inventory reconciliation, procedure manuals, coordinating with the General-Purpose FTZ Grantee, as well as other duties in the zone operation. Her experience also includes researching U.S. Customs inquiries, and FTZ statistical recordkeeping and reporting issues.
Additionally, Ms. Fetrow has experience in classification, preparation of customs entries, duty drawback claims, protests, and the logistics of importing and exporting. She continues to add to her knowledge and experience through oversight of the administration of PTSI's FTZ managed services projects in eight states.
She has served in positions with well-known Customs brokerage firms, an established steel manufacturing company operating in a foreign-trade zone, and the national trade and customs practice of one of the Big 4 accounting firms. Her experience in these positions is related to the preparation and issues involving Customs entry documents and Customs clearance, Customs audit programs, prior disclosure documentation, foreign-trade zone operational issues, and other trade and customs issues. Ms. Fetrow serves as Vice President and Treasurer for PointTrade Services, Inc.
